Animal Cruelty!!!

Please spay and neuter you pets as the no kill shelters are always full and the kill shelters, kill healthy animals if they aren't adopted within a certain time frame.

20,000 HEALTHY dogs are killed every year!!!! This is completely UNACCEPTABLE!!!!

The sun said a dog charity insider told them "many charity work on a contract with the local councils so they are obliged to keep taking on dogs regardless of how full they are. So they will say that certain dogs that bark and growl at staff have "behavioural issues" and they end up getting destroyed". They just can't keep with all the numbers.

Around 47,000 dogs were abandoned in 2014/15. It was found that hundreds die at Battersea dogs centre and they were described as "bias toward putting the dogs to sleep".

Orcas at Seaworld spend most of their time floating at the surface of the water with little to no shade from the blistering sun. In the wild, Orcas spend up to 95% of their time submerged and would find shade in the depths of the ocean, however at Seaworld their tanks are far too shallow. Their deepest tank is only 40 feet deep, not nearly deep enough to give them relief from the harsh elements. Because of this the Orcas most often than not recieve sunburns which are then concealed from the public with black zinc oxide. This is not the only animal cruelty happening at Seaworld.

They train the males to float on their backs so that the trainers can masturbate them to collect their sperm to artificially inseminate the females. Whereas in nature they choose their own mates... Females at Seaworld are forced to breed at a much younger age than in the wild, they are also sometimes inbred with their own offspring.

Some Orcas are kidnapped!!!

The first ever Orca show, in 1965, at Seaworld was preformed by a female Orca called named "Shamu" at Seaworld in San Diego. During her capture her mother was shot by a harpoon and killed right infront of Shamu by a marine "cowboy" named Ted Griffin. His partner Don Goldsberry, later worked at Seaworld. He was assigned to bring Orcas into the park. He kidnapped and slaughtered many Orcas. He even hired divers to slit open the bellies of four Orcas, fill them with rocks, put achors around their tails and sink them to the bottem of the ocean so that their deaths wouldn't be discovered.

Orcass have a significantly shorter lifespan.

In the willd the average lifedpan for them is 30 - 50 years. Their estimated lifespan is 60 - 70 years for males and for females it is 80 to ver 100 years. However, the median age of Orcas in captivity is only 9 years.

Collapsed dorsal fins are not normal or healthy!!!

All males in captivity have collapsed dorsal fins, which is a sign of an unhealthy Orca. Seaworld claims collapsed dorsal fins are common and natural for all Orcas. However, this condition is caused by the unnatural environments of captivity. only 1 in 5% of male Orcas in some populations (not all of them) have fully collapsed dorsal fins.

Trainers often have no formal education in marine biology and do not educate the audiences about the intelligence, social nature, natural families, foraging behaviour and habitats of the animals at Seaworld as their main purpose is to entertain the audience.

SEAWORLD FAILS TO CARE FOR THE ANIMALS!!!

They confine whales and dolphins into tanks that to them are the equivalent to bathtubs as they often swim swim up to 100 miles a day in the wild.

There are not many things that are more disgusting than cruelty to poor defenceless animals.
