DAP (Disability Advice Project) provides a welfare rights service to support disabled people, their families and carers.


They offer FREE impartial advice, advocacy and information on all disability issues to disabled people, family and carers.


They provide independent specialist advice and offer;

- Assess your full entitlement to services and benefits

- Help build the evidence you need

- Attend appeals with you

- Put you in touch with other relevant support agencies

- Choice and Control

- Free representation at benefits tribunals

- Life coaching for individuals and groups

- Life skills for carers and ex- carers

- Help with adaptations and equipment

- Website auditing for disabled accessibility


They look to give you more choices in the support they provide to enable an improved quality of life for you, your family and carer.
