Do you want charities to stop contacting you or someone you care about, but don't know where to start?
Are you under too much pressure to donate to charitable causes?
The fundraising preference services is the official way to stop unwanted charity communications. It is free and run by the Fundraising Regulator, the national regulator of charitable fundraising in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Over 5,000 people have already used the service to prevent one more charities from getting in touch with them by phone, mail, email or text.
How it works
You can enter your contact information securely on their website or by phone. The service ensures you only receive communications from the charities you wish to support.

What if I rely on member or carer?
Those in vulnerable circumstances can allow another person to act on their behalf to stop contact from specific charities through the Fundraising Preference Service.

Do you have a complaint about fundraising?
We investigate complaints about poor fundraising, to improve fundraising practice in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
If you are unhappy wish a fundraising approach you should contact the charity first. If you are unhappy with the response, you can make a complaint to FPS.
