Inspire To Work

Inspire to Work has been designed to provide support for young people aged 16-24 who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) and have no means of re-engaging with formal or informal education, training, volunteering or employment.


The project works throughout the following local authority areas of South East Wales: Bridgend, Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Merthyr Tydfil, Torfaen and Rhondda Cynon Taff.


The Operation will provide tailored support to help young people:

- Identify the personal barriers they face

- Understand how the barriers inhibit / restrict their entry, participation and progression in education, training or employment

- Formulate an action plan to mitigate or eliminate the identified barriers

- Deliver the agreed supportive actions

- Provide progression routes into further education, training, volunteering or employment


Essential Eligible Criteria-

- Legal right to live and work in the UK

- Aged between 16 and 24

- Not be in Education, Employment or Training


Specific Targets-

- Gaining a qualification upon leaving

- In education / training upon leaving

- Entering employment upon leaving
